Travel suppliers and certain other recipients are independent businesses and may use personal information under their own privacy policies and legal obligations. Wanderkeep does not control their independent processing.

Wanderkeep does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do not use information collected through the Website to create or serve advertisements based on a person's activity across unaffiliated websites or online services. We may disclose limited device, browser, and website-interaction information to analytics and campaign-measurement providers as described in the Cookie Notice below. Depending on applicable law, some disclosures through analytics or measurement technologies may be described as a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" even when no money is exchanged and Wanderkeep does not use the information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where applicable, you may manage optional cookies through our cookie controls or contact us to exercise an available opt-out right.

4. Cookie Notice and Online Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Website, remember preferences, understand usage, diagnose technical issues, and measure the performance of communications and campaigns.

Technologies We Use

  • Essential Wix cookies. Our Website is hosted on the Wix platform. Wix uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for functions such as website security, fraud prevention, network management, session management, load balancing, and delivery of requested website features. Disabling essential cookies may cause parts of the Website not to function properly.

  • Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Website, such as which pages are visited, how visitors arrive at the Website, and how the Website performs. Google may receive device, browser, approximate-location, and interaction information and process it under Google's own terms and privacy policy.

  • Meta Pixel. We use the Meta Pixel to measure website visits and actions after a person views or interacts with Wanderkeep content or advertising on Meta platforms, and to evaluate campaign attribution and performance. Meta may receive device, browser, and website-interaction information and process it under Meta's own terms and privacy policy. Wanderkeep does not use the Meta Pixel to create or serve cross-site behavioral advertising audiences based on activity across unaffiliated websites or services.

Managing Cookies

Where our Website provides cookie controls, you may use them to accept, reject, or change preferences for nonessential cookies. You may also block or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect Website functionality. Choices generally apply only to the browser and device on which they are made and may need to be renewed if cookies are deleted.

Most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting, but there is no consistent industry standard for responding to that signal. Our Website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. You may instead use available cookie controls or contact us regarding rights provided by applicable law.

5. International Transfers

Wanderkeep is based in the United States. Personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States and other countries where Wanderkeep, travel suppliers, or service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you reside. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

6. Retention of Personal Information

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide requested services, maintain business and transaction records, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal, tax, accounting, supplier, insurance, and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type and sensitivity of information, the nature of the relationship, and applicable requirements. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it until deletion is feasible.

7. How We Protect Personal Information

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, taking into account the nature and sensitivity of the information and the circumstances in which it is processed. Access is limited to persons who reasonably need the information for authorized purposes. We also seek to use service providers appropriate to the information and services involved.

No method of transmission, storage, or security can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Email and ordinary web forms may not always be secure, and you should avoid sending highly sensitive information through an unapproved method. If you believe information has been compromised, contact us promptly.

8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Marketing Communications

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. We may continue to send transactional, booking, safety, account, or service-related communications that are reasonably necessary for an existing or requested relationship.

Access, Correction, Deletion, and Other Rights

Depending on where you reside and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request confirmation of whether we process your personal information; access to or a copy of that information; correction of inaccurate information; deletion; data portability; restriction or objection to certain processing; withdrawal of consent; and an opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. You may also have the right to appeal a decision concerning a privacy request and to use an authorized agent.

To submit a request, email privacy@wanderkeep.com. Please describe the request and provide information reasonably sufficient for us to locate the relevant records and verify your identity or authority. We will use personal information submitted with a request only to evaluate and respond to the request. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

If we deny a request and applicable law provides a right to appeal, you may appeal by emailing privacy@wanderkeep.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line and explaining the basis of the appeal.

9. Information About Minors

Our Website and Services are not directed to children, and children should not submit personal information directly to us without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. We may receive and process information about minor travelers from a parent, legal guardian, family member, group organizer, or other adult authorized to arrange their travel. If you believe a child provided personal information directly to us without appropriate authorization, contact us so that we may review and address the matter.

10. Supplemental Notice for California Residents

Subject to applicable law and exceptions, California residents may have rights to know and access personal information; request correction or deletion; receive a portable copy; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information; and receive equal service and pricing when exercising privacy rights. Wanderkeep does not knowingly sell personal information for money and does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

California residents may exercise applicable rights using the contact methods in Section 8. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require evidence of authorization and may need to verify the consumer directly.

11. Supplemental Information for European and United Kingdom Residents

If the European Union General Data Protection Regulation, United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation, or related European data-protection law applies to our processing of your personal information, Wanderkeep Travel Group LLC is the controller of the processing described in this Privacy Policy unless another notice states otherwise.

Legal Bases

Depending on the context, we process personal information because it is necessary to take steps at your request or perform a contract; to comply with legal obligations; based on your consent; or for legitimate interests such as providing and improving services, communicating with customers, securing our operations, preventing fraud, and establishing or defending legal rights, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access personal information; correct inaccurate or incomplete information; request deletion; restrict processing; object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing; withdraw consent; receive portable data; and avoid decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Wanderkeep does not ordinarily make such solely automated decisions about travelers.

You may submit a request using the contact methods in Section 8. You may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in the country where you reside, work, or believe an infringement occurred. International transfers are addressed in Section 5.

A separate and distinct link to that notice should be available on Wanderkeep's homepage and on any page where consumer health data is collected.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised policy will be posted with an updated "Last updated" date and will take effect on the date stated.
